The Heart Behind Lunita

Chiara – Creator of Lunita Sanctuary

Hi, I’m Chiara, a woman rooted between two worlds: the mountains of Switzerland and the sacred land of Peru. Lunita Sanctuary was born from my own journey – a path of healing, remembrance, and reconnection.

I didn’t grow up in spiritual traditions – I grew through longing. Through quiet moments in the forest, through tears that turned into prayers, and the deep ache of disconnection.
Nature became my sanctuary. The trees, the plants, the rivers they began to speak to something ancient within me. And slowly, I began to listen. I followed the whispers of my soul – into retreats, into sacred lands, and into the Andean mountains, where a deep remembering awakened in me.
It was there I felt: healing doesn’t always happen at home. Sometimes it begins when we step away – into the unknown, together with women who are also on their path.
It was a retreat, one I traveled to alone, deep into the jungle, that began to bring me back to myself. That’s why I believe in retreats – not as an escape, but as a sacred return.

I believe in Earth. In rituals. In sisterhood.
In the subtle magic of herbs and the wisdom of sacred spaces.
Over the years, I’ve felt deeply called to the medicine of the plants – learning through presence, experience, and quiet devotion.

I believe Pachamama – Mother Earth – holds the power to heal, soften, and reawaken us.
Lunita Sanctuary is a space of remembering.
A sanctuary for women to root, rest, and reconnect – with their body, their breath, their feminine essence.

I’m still walking this path. Still learning – but I know I don’t walk it alone.

The Moon – intuitive, cyclical, and luminous – guides much of my work.
To me, she is a reminder: that our power lies not in becoming more,
but in remembering that we are already whole.
